Studio Vaessen is the definition of ‘met de paplepel ingegoten’. Dad Ger is the one who puts the ‘pap’ in the paplepel, literally and figuratively. While forcing all family members to listen to Kraftwerk, Sjostakovitsj, and Sex Pistols on a daily basis, it was the oldest daughter Vera (also known as seja) who bit into the bait. Studio Vaessen is their way to transfer their shared passion for weird and less weird music to others, hoping to inspire other child-parent duos to do the same.
