I grew up in Luxembourg, but am the son of two Portuguese immigrant parents. I spent the entirety of my life surrounded by music, mostly learning the guitar ever since I was a kid and just always listening to the radio with my mom. During my teen years I discovered my passion for artistic expression, starting with writing and films and then eventually finding another musical route, with DJing. In my early 20s I started being involved in GALR (fka Lagerkultur), which started as a group in Luxembourg that focused on organising progressive electronic music events.
It was during that time that I also focused on learning how to grow as an independent artist/DJ and have been maturing ever since, while being more and more involved with the label of GALR.
Music in the format of mixing is extremely special and also unique, because it genuinely allows me to do anything and tell any story I want to. In the past 4 years of mixing, I have done many things from expressing my roots and upbringing, to just representing the music that was representative of where I grew up in Luxembourg, to representing what grief means to me, and much more. I try to surround myself with artists in Berlin that have a unique vision of what the medium of mixing can bring, and therefore am very inspired by them. Also being a part of GALR, we are blessed to constantly meet new artists that align with my taste, while also broadening my vision of what music can bring to an audience.
