RIET is a Brussels-born DJ now based in Berlin. Deeply shaped by the electronic music scenes of both cities, she draws inspiration from the dancers in front of her as much as from the places she inhabits. Her style emerges through thoughtful selection: tracks that make her dream, dive into a journey, or instinctively nod her shoulders. Her sets move through a symbiosis of melodic, deep and minimal sounds, creating an atmosphere that is both immersive and feather-light.

Her artistic approach is fluid and intuitive. Rather than defining a fixed philosophy, she responds to context, emotion and the energies she encounters — letting influences from clubs, concerts and friends naturally seep into her musical world. The result is a personal, evolving sound shaped by encounters rather than rules.

For her Microwave residency, RIET aims to build a bridge between her Berlin and Brussels lives. Both cities are rich with musical talent, and she wants the impressions she gathers while dancing, partying and listening in Berlin to cross borders and resonate in Brussels. At the same time, she hopes to infuse her Berlin circle with the bubbling creativity coming from Brussels — a city she sees as one of the next major hotspots in electronic music. This residency becomes a meeting point between two scenes, two rhythms, and two homes.
