Poxcat is a self-funded collective based in Brussels, founded in 2017 to support and spotlight womxn DJs and producers. Through parties, radio shows and podcasts, the collective creates platforms for underrepresented voices in electronic music. With a strong DIY ethos, Poxcat moves between the political and the personal, letting narrative, experimentation and openness shape its sets, gatherings and events.
Their artistic approach is rooted in the idea of collectivities — groups formed around shared values, practices and intentions, where collaboration takes precedence over hierarchy. Within music and culture, collectivities foster mutual support, shared authorship and collective care. For Poxcat, exploring this theme means rethinking how a mix is constructed: how its content, form and rhythm can emerge from shared energy rather than from a singular point of view.
For their Microwave residency, DJs Nur/Se and Lundi will share a monthly 60-minute mix dedicated to the theme of collectivities. Longer live studio sessions will become a gathering space for the wider Poxcat crew — a moment to exchange music, ideas and momentum — and an opportunity to invite special guests. Each session aims to cultivate connection, collaboration and porous boundaries between artists, listeners and the collective.
