M7 is an anonymous project by a Georgian musician and DJ, founded in Tbilisi in 2024. An early fascination with radically different musical styles has shaped the project’s evolving direction, driven by a curiosity that never stops unfolding. Rather than seeking a fixed identity or a defined place within the industry, M7 moves in the opposite direction — using music as a tool to question, disrupt and redraw the line between reality and illusion. Through an experimental fusion of contemporary and old-school hip-hop, the project explores, dismantles or reconfigures the relationship between what is perceived and what is imagined.

The residency at Microwave extends this ongoing exploration. Each episode becomes a space where these shifting ideas take form through sound, narrative and contrast. Looking ahead, M7 will continue the project through periodic collaborations with both Georgian and international musicians, expressed in joint mix recordings that push the project into new dialogues and new sonic territories.
