Parlour Hour

Two friends sharing their love for music, a duo formed on the spot while djing at weddings and other random parties, connecting their eclectic tastes somewhere between those events, while also being influenced by their music and sound performance practices. for their microwave show, they will oscillate through many genres, digging into local and less local sounds: expect a layer of hybrid sounds ; flamenco, neo-folk, funaná, ambient loops, hectic beats and other found pearls.

Emma makes electronic music with synths and homemade instruments. their practice extends to clowning and performing. They're involved in several collective projects around sound, like the podcast ‘tales from drift’, noise band ‘idioma' and clown duo 'kaputt mortem'.

Luz is an experimental vocalist and performer, interested in different approaches to voice - whether it be electroacoustic, processed, using extended techniques, operatic, diy or improvised. they’ve been involved for a while in the Reykjavík and Amsterdam music scenes, and are currently also resident at Radio TNP.
