Based in Brussels, Lundi is involved in numerous collective graphic and type design projects, through which she explores digital standards, subverts the binary nature of our interfaces and delves into the tensions between text and images (ByeByeBinary, OSP, Meyboom artist-run space, erg school, Médor magazine)
Her areas of exploration include plotter drawing, experimental typefaces, artisanal web design, software as cultural objects, and the methods and tools that lead to new forms of collaboration.
She took up DJing when she joined the Poxcat collective in 2023, drawn by its commitment to supporting DJs of all experience levels by promoting their work, commissioning and sharing their mixes, and organizing parties.
For her, the Microwave residency sessions are an opportunity to continue exploring tracks and putting together sets centered on experimental club music and broken beat – often highly percussive – whilst having a particular affinity for musical genres that loop and bridge different cultures and are wildly reimagined or re-appropriated in diasporic ways. Her DJ sets blend non-Western rhythms with experimental club sounds.
Lundi takes also a particular interest in collaborative practices, such as remixes, collaborations, ruined versions, polyphony, compilations, rebellions, manifestos, fanfares and other plural and queer forms.
A Monday with UK bass, Middle Eastern beats, latincore and mellow dub lines, all gathered round a table.
