Léonard Steyaert is a Brussels-based electronic musician, singer-songwriter and instrument designer. He has spent the past years developing synthesizers and musical instruments as an engineer and artist at Shakmat Modular, while simultaneously creating his own music, combining voice, synthesizers, electronics and songwriting.

His debut album More Than Meets The Eye brings together complex rhythms, organic synthesizers, warm guitars and a celestial voice, drawing from experimental electronic music, art rock, modern classical and unconventional songwriting.

For live performances, Léonard moves between modular improvisations with voice, strange electronic textures, classical influences, intimate singer-songwriter pieces and art rock. Each show can shift from spontaneous electronic exploration to fully composed songs, creating a fluid space between improvisation, sound experimentation and songwriting."
