Léo Patt

Every third Friday of month

Liminal Motion is the monthly residency of a French producer, DJ and sound artist Léo Patt, whose work merges minimalist club energy with refined electroacoustic detail. His sound balances physical drive and introspection, unfolding in the space where rhythm becomes atmosphere and atmosphere becomes narrative. With releases spanning Romania, the USA, Canada and Russia, he carves a subtle yet resonant voice within the deep minimal underground scene.

His artistic approach revolves around finding the delicate point where movement flows naturally, without excess — a state of alert calm. This tension between introspection and groove shapes his philosophy: sound as a liminal zone where thought and dance meet. Drawing from his background in acousmatic and concrete composition, and his training at the Conservatory of Mons (Arts²), he brings meticulous textures and narrative lines into the club context, giving them weight, depth and momentum.

What makes the residency unique is the way it invites listeners to stay fully attentive while moving — thinking while dancing. Each episode explores a modern minimal sound rooted in the Eastern European club scene yet connected globally, with detailed sound design, immersive atmospheres and deep, sometimes dark, physical grooves. The show also highlights collaborations and gives space to both established and emerging artists who resonate with this sonic philosophy.
