Karmaten is a young DJ and producer trio from Brussels, shaped by the city’s wide spectrum of sounds and enriched by influences from South America and the UK. For their Microwave residency “Community Curation,” they open up their creative process to their audience. Every month, listeners are invited to submit a recent musical discovery, from which one track is chosen to be remixed, featured in their set, or sometimes both. It’s a way for them to stay creatively challenged, highlight fresh sounds, and celebrate someone’s music taste with each new episode.
